Probleemstelling

3 growing problems are already present, all growing and converging in the coming years:
1. Increasing older population
2. Insufficient funds to pay for aging population
3. Insufficient amount of caregivers

Oplossing

At the core of our proposition is tackling and reducing loneliness in elderly. We know that increased loneliness shortens the timeframe for many ailments of old age.
By providing a companion that leverages state of the art AI and our proprietary technology for conversational skills, we start providing additional support against loneliness. Additionally, each conversational input provides material for analysis towards warning signs of old age problems such as dementia or depression.

65+ population. 20% of current Dutch population.
Our tech scales well with other languages, so any EU country is in our expansion path.

Verlaging zorgkosten

At the moment we only have US benchmark on medicare. Incremental cost of lonely older people is approximately 1600 USD per year per such person.

Verdienmodel

We have designed our product with a monthly subscription of 25 eur. This makes the platform sustainable with less than 5000 users. We are preparing the B2B model to be able to work with care or insurance providers

Concurrentie

No exact competitor, but there are similar approaches to provide assistance tools for older people. Our platform is API driven, which means we can collaborate with robotics or tablet based solutions.

Unieke kenmerken

How we build and manage a model of our users’ world is completely proprietary and unique. Additionally we are building a unique approach to chain different sensors to conversation analysis, which can be used for model testing and improvements

Organisatie

In first 2 years we think we will have modest headcount growth, because all 4 founders have technology and business experience. Product development, marketing and business development will need to grow to accelerate. All contributors leverage AI tools for day to day activities, so we expect to remain within an HC of 10 by year 2. (Depending on investment)
