Rotterdam Square Breakfast: Implementing VR Solutions in Healthcare

On Wednesday, December 4, Rotterdam Square will host a breakfast event in collaboration with Immersive Tech Week 2024. Just like last year, inspiring guest speakers will join us in De Doelen in Rotterdam to discuss the exciting opportunities of implementing virtual reality (VR) in healthcare.

One of our guest speakers is Henrik Hellman, director of EldersVR. EldersVR is a company that leverages VR technology to enhance the well-being of less mobile elderly individuals. Their approach is rooted in the belief that a happy life requires less care, and they aim to contribute to a better quality of life for the elderly through VR experiences. EldersVR collaborates with care organizations to integrate their VR solutions into daily care routines, aiming to improve care quality and alleviate the burden on caregivers. They also conduct research in partnership with universities and independent research firms to verify the effectiveness of their VR interventions.
