The Games for Health Europe Conference is an annual conference where healthcare professionals, scientists and game developers come together to exchange experiences and create opportunities for applied games in healthcare. Think of games that increase self-management skills in patients, teach patients to cope with chronic conditions, and train specialist skills in healthcare professionals such as endoscopy or robotic surgery.

Conference theme 2025: What we learned yesterday to change tomorrow

Healthcare is evolving and games & technology are leading the way. In this tenth edition of the Games for Health Europe conference, we will be looking back as well as reflecting on the future.

We shine a light on mental health, and the increased necessity for preventive healthcare alongside powerful interventions; how can we best utilize gameplay & smart technology for a healthier society? We take a look at not only smart, but ethical use of AI technology, and how it and other tools in our toolbox can transform our healthcare systems. We debate how to sustainably see all these transformations through, for the planet’s health as much as ours. And we remember the most powerful use of gameplay: its engaging nature, to involve curious, capable people in citizen science for better data, and engage patientsto take charge of their own health.

We have escaperoomsgames and lots of hands-on workshops. Whether it’s through networking, playing, debating or learning, our action-packed program ensures you will leave this conference with something new.
